GEMINI PLASMA PLATE PROCESSOR

Operate a steel plate plasma cutting/drilling machine.

• Load and Unload steel plate of various thicknesses onto plate processor table with overhead cranes.
• Unload processor table then sort and deburr cut pieces of plate.
• Stack deburred plates onto carts and/or pallets for shipment to fitting department.
• Utilize Haco press brake to bend plate as required for projects.
• Will train for the position

FICEP ANGLE PUNCHING AND SHEARING PROCESSOR

Operate a steel angle iron punching and shearing machine.

• Load and Unload steel angle iron of various thicknesses onto conveyor rollers with overhead cranes.
• Run cnc programs (provided by office personnel) after material is loaded.
• Sort and load angle pieces onto carts and/or pallets for shipment to fitting department

• Operate FICEP structural steel Drill and Saw automated line
• Follow all quality procedures, material tracking and part inspection
• Follow policies, practices, procedures and tracking for production operations
• Look out for manufacturing issues and escalate design, manufacturing and build issues to supervisors when appropriate
• Interpret drawings
• Operate overhead bridge cranes
• Maintain equipment per manufactures recommendations for preventive maintenance
• Utilize understanding of component assembly processes to prevent detailing errors reaching the cutting, drilling operation center
• Other work, which may be assigned as needed to support the team
• Must be willing to work overtime, when available

• Basic rigging skills
• Understanding of flanges and hole locations of cuts
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong understanding of structural assembly and fabrication equipment including, saws, drill presses, plasma cutting, iron workers
• Specific knowledge of structural steel CNC equipment
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Must be familiar with email

Qualified applicants should have 2+ years of CNC machine operating. Experienced in a parts manufacturing environment, or similar industry a plus. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong understanding of structural assembly and fabrication equipment including, saws, drill presses, plasma cutting, iron workers. Specific knowledge of structural steel CNC equipment.

Start between $25-$30/hr. depending on experience.

The Position: Full-time Monday-Friday. 1st and 2nd shift available. 2nd Shift comes with shift differential pay.
